Why do I have to give my date of birth when I install FlipaClip?

FlipaClip explicitly follows the requirements set forth in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA). If you are under the age of 13, there are certain account features that will be unavailable to you such as a FlipaClip account and contest participation.

If you entered your date of birth incorrectly when you first installed Flipaclip, currently the only option to correct this right now is to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Upon reinstalling the app, you will be asked for your date of birth again.

IMPORTANT: By uninstalling and reinstalling the app, you will lose all of your projects. The only way to avoid this is to share your projects to another location and then add them back upon reinstall.
